Chat with Citeaxis
How intake, the single card, the Quote Manager, and FOLLOWUP work and what you can ask after the proposal lands.
The project chat has three phases. They are not buttons you switch. Citeaxis moves you through them.
- 01
ASK / Intake
- 02
Gate: Quote Manager
- 03
FOLLOWUP
ASK / Intake
Your first message starts intake. Citeaxis asks 5–8 questions you can click, and it titles the project. It does not price in this phase.
The same card also carries the seven stack questions. One submit feeds both the proposal and the Blueprint.
If you write that you just want the price, Citeaxis still runs the gate. It will assume what you skipped and list those assumptions.
Gate: the Quote Manager
After the card (or the “just the price” shortcut) a job runs: intake → gate. A decision core plus three writers produce the proposal JSON: Core, Recommended, Complete, hours, team, and the 12-month ROI.
This is the same pipeline the Quote Manager skill describes. Nothing in this step is a guess in the chat UI. It is a queued job you can watch in Activity.
The first Blueprint preview starts in parallel. You do not wait for the price to see the tree.
FOLLOWUP
After PROPOSAL DELIVERED, the chat answers questions about the numbers. If the scope or the price has to move, the gate re-opens.
Once a Blueprint exists, FOLLOWUP can also:
regenerate_domainchange one domain (and its dependents). See Regenerate a domain.answer_scenario_questionfill a gap the scenario agent still has.
