Agent, pipeline, or automation

Citeaxis classifies every brief as one of three types. The type changes the scope shape, the hours, and the package story.

#Agent

A system that decides and acts: triage, research, support, ops. It has tools, a policy, and a human fallback.

#Pipeline

A multi-step flow that moves data or documents from A to B with checks. Think ingest → transform → write-back, with an audit trail.

#Automation

A reliable job that replaces a repeated manual process. Narrower than a pipeline. Often a schedule plus a small number of systems.
