Create an account
Create your Citeaxis account with email and password or with Google or Microsoft, then verify your email before you enter the members area.
You need an account before you can open /app. Sign up at /signup. Sign in at /login.
Email and password
Signup is three steps: Name, Email, Password.
The password must be at least 6 characters and include one uppercase letter. Citeaxis stores a scrypt hash, never the password itself.
After you submit, Citeaxis emails a verification link. You cannot enter the members area until the address is confirmed unless you signed up through an organization invite, which skips this wait.
Google or Microsoft
On both /signup and /login you can continue with Google or Microsoft. Citeaxis uses OIDC with PKCE.
If the provider email already belongs to a verified Citeaxis account, the sign-in joins that account. You do not get a second user.
You can connect or disconnect these providers later in Account settings.
Verify your email
/verify-email is the waiting room. Open the link in the email, or ask Citeaxis to send it again. Until emailVerifiedAt is set, /app redirects you back here.
After you are in
A new account with no organization lands on onboarding: accept an invite, join by company domain, or create an organization.
